Trump likes two points of the Victory Plan written in the case for his presidency.

Donald Trump, who won the US presidential election, is interested in two points of President Volodymyr Zelensky’s Victory Plan, which he presented to Trump during a meeting in September. The first offers Ukrainian troops as replacements for American troops stationed in Europe after the war’s end. The second was first developed by Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, a Trump ally, who proposed sharing Ukraine’s critical natural resources with Western partners.

Separately, business leaders in Ukraine are discussing with the government the possibility of giving Trump “investment screening” powers, which would allow him to determine who can do business in the country. One planner described the idea as “ABC – anyone but China,” which could benefit Trump.

Ukrainian industries that are dependent on Chinese technologies and materials, particularly telecommunications, could switch to American suppliers and attract more Western investment.
