The Armed Forces of Ukraine have already received one million drones, and next year this number will increase significantly.
In 2024, a million drones have already been delivered to the front, and 96% of them are Ukrainian-made, the Ministry of Digital Transformation reports. Brave1 defense cluster participants have already developed 3,086 pieces of equipment including drones, EW technologies, robotics, AI technologies, communication technologies, and other military technologies. About half of these innovations have received military approval, and over 220 inventions meet NATO standards.
The state is increasing funding, and the draft budget for 2025 allocates ₴54.55B (this year – ₴51B) for the development of production capacity, the development and implementation of new technologies, and the expansion of production capacities to produce defense products. In2025 ₴500M has been allocated to the affordable loan program for defense enterprises.
The Defense Committee of the Verkhovna Rada confirmed that ₴1.5T is provided in the draft budget to finance the needs of the Ministry of Defense, though the agency requested ₴6.07T.
