More military aid from Ukraine’s allies: NASAMS from Canada, joint UAV and ammunition production with Lithuania.
President Zelenskyy spoke with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and discussed the Peace Formula, the Victory Plan, and cooperation on the organization of the second global Peace Summit. During the call, Trudeau announced the shipment of the first NASAMS air defense system ordered by Canada for Ukraine by the end of the year.
Simultaneously, Ukraine and Lithuania signed a memorandum on joint production of UAVs, ammunition, electronic warfare equipment, and the development of advanced technologies. Moreover, Ukraine received the first batch of equipment from Lithuania as part of the demining coalition: 230 modern vehicles and 240 demining detectors.
During his visit to Berlin, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte announced that the German arms concern Rheinmetall will soon complete the construction of its second military enterprise in Ukraine.
Also, Australia will provide Ukraine with 14 fast boats worth $14M, which will significantly strengthen the country’s maritime and coastal defense.
