Ukraine expects to receive another $15B from its partners by the end of 2024.
The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine expects to receive more than $15B in foreign aid in the last two months of 2024. During October 21-26, the ministry’s team led by Minister Serhii Marchenko held more than 70 meetings with international financial leaders.
“All partners emphasized their readiness to strengthen cooperation with Ukraine, which is also confirmed by significant achievements in the mobilization of aid for the next year. The partners assured us that they will provide their full support,” the message reads.
The ministry also indicated that the G7 countries have demonstrated unity on the issue of using profits from Russia’s frozen assets for the benefit of Ukraine. The money is expected to be available in first days of 2025.
Moreover, last week Ukraine received the sixth tranche from the International Monetary Fund for $1.1B.
