Ukraine’s attack on the ammunition depot in Toropets will affect Russian operations in the Kursk region as Kyiv’s attacks continue.

The attack on the Russian ammunition depot in Toropets, Tver region, on September 18 will affect Russian operations in the Kursk region, British intelligence reported. The General Staff of Estonia also noted that the consequences from the attack on Toropets will be felt at the front in the coming weeks.

On the night of September 21, the Tikhoretsk arsenal (Krasnodar region) was attacked – it is one of the Kremlin’s three largest Russian ammunition caches and is a key link in Russian logistics. According to the Ministry of Defense, at the time of the attack a Russian division arrived on the arsenal to deliver at least 2,000 tons of newly made and imported ammunition.

The Tver region was also the target for another drone attack. Satellites recorded a fire covering almost the entire territory of the 23rd arsenal of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. Russian officials announced a massive drone attack and reported that all 101 drones were shot down, but falling debris caused the fire.
