Ukraine acquires global defense tech hub status; more than 100 investment partners from 30 countries are interested in domestic developments.
Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov said that Ukraine’s partners admire the expertise of Ukrainian developers and the fact that Ukrainian solutions demonstrate their effectiveness on the battlefield. “They are trying to use our experience and work to improve their developments,” he said.
The minister added that there are 100 investment partners from 30 countries who are interested in Ukraine’s innovations. Among them are large venture capital funds, angel syndicates, and private investors. In October, Ukraine will hold the first international investment summit for the Ukrainian defense tech industry, Defense Tech Valley, gathering hundreds of investors from Ukraine and abroad. Fedorov emphasized: “Technology must fight on the battlefield, and robotics is the only way to save people’s lives. That’s why we focus on robotic platforms because we see a point of development and great opportunities in this area. This is now one of the priority directions for the Brave1 cluster,” said the minister.
