A US congressman names three ways Biden can support the Ukrainian offensive.

Ukraine has launched an outstanding offensive into the Kursk region of Russia. According to the US Representative and Democrat Jake Auchincloss, Joe Biden can do three things to maximize Ukraine’s success.  Together with Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Biden should clearly define the concept of “victory,” authorize the use of American long-range weapons on targets in Russian territory and expand sanctions. According to him, the definition of victory should have clear and indisputable wording: a safe eastern border, freedom of navigation in the Black Sea, and Ukraine’s inevitable accession to the EU. Permitting the use of American-made fighter jets and ballistic missiles will disable Russian oil refineries. And this, along with sanctions, will undermine Putin’s most important source of income and increase pressure on the Russian economy. Auchincloss also supports providing Ukraine with a $50B loan, which will be serviced by interest from frozen Russian assets.
