Ukraine’s allies continue their support on the battlefield. What are they providing now?

On August 15, forklifts, trailers, and other supplies sent by Lithuania arrived in Ukraine. This month, Kyiv will receive from Lithuania 14 M113 armored personnel carriers, short-range air defense launchers with missiles, anti-drone systems, individual anti-drone silencers, all-terrain vehicles with spare parts, rifles, ammunition, and smoke charges. Germany will hand over a new aid package to Ukraine by the end of the year. It is planned to deliver two IRIS-T SLM medium-range SAM batteries, two IRIS-T SLS short-range air defense system batteries, 10 Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft guns, 12 self-propelled PzH 2000 guns, four self-propelled Zuzana 2 guns, 30 Leopard 1A5 tanks, and 400 MRAP armored military vehicles. Germany will also provide small arms, ammunition, a field hospital, and continue to send medical supplies. Still, the amount of military aid to Ukraine has not changed in the final draft of the German Federal Budget for 2025. About €8B is planned for Ukraine this year and €4B for next year, which has already been fully allocated.
