Ukraine struck the Russian Lypetsk airfield, where Su-34, Su-35, and MiG-31 aircraft are stationed.

Last week, Ukraine’s military struck another important enemy military object in Russian territory. In the attack, the Russian Lypetsk airfield in the Lypetsk region was severely damaged, which is where Russian forces had housed Su-34, Su-35, and MiG-31 fighter jets, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.

As a result of the attack, most of the planes stationed at the airfield did not even have time to take off. The Ukrainian drone strike caused a chain detonation and a large-scale fire that covered a large part of the airfield. At the time of the attack, the enemy had several dozen jet fighters and helicopters at the airfield, and more than 700 guided air bombs were stored in warehouses.

Also, Ukrainian units attacked Russian anti-aircraft missile divisions in the Donetsk region. The targets were three enemy radar complexes: two S-350 and an S-300. The destruction of one S-350 air defense missile radar was confirmed. All three enemy radar systems ceased operating after the strikes.
