For the first time, a Ukrainian furniture exporter receives a financial guarantee for the transit of goods through 35 European countries.
The largest furniture exporter from Ukraine, the Accord company, became the first to take advantage of a new mechanism to issue financial guarantees for customs operations while transporting goods through 35 European countries. The Raiffeisen bank reported that the first financial guarantee was issued for €171,000. From now on, exporters of goods can also receive financial guarantees in euros for one year under the European transit system (NCTS).
The introduction of this new tool will allow customers to significantly speed up the turnover of goods, save time and money, and become more competitive in European markets. Now, trucks can cross Europe to their destination without unnecessary stops and risks.
Accord exports approximately 95% of its furniture to Europe. Over the past four years, Accord has increased its sales by 300%, up to ₴1.7 billion by the end of 2023.
