The US has finally agreed on aid to Ukraine and Israel.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said that during a Sunday call between President Joe Biden and congressional leaders, there was “consensus” that Congress needs to act quickly to send aid to both Israel and Ukraine, reported ABC News. Schumer hopes that “something can be done” this week to help both countries.

According to the Democrat, the best help for Israel and Ukraine is the approval by the House of Representatives of the Senate-approved supplemental national security law, which provides a combined $95B assistance package for both countries.

Before that, House Majority Leader Steve Scalise said the House would change its legislative schedule this week to consider options to help Israel (and possibly Ukraine at the same time) and hold Iran accountable.

However, it is currently unknown what that new aid package might be and how sharply it may deviate from the one adopted by the Senate.
