The demand for new cars In Ukraine increased by almost 50%.

In the first quarter of 2024, 16,660 new cars were registered in Ukraine, reports the Ukravtoprom association. This is 49% higher than in the same period last year.

The largest number of registrations were for Toyota vehicles – 2,643 cars, which is 52% more than in the first quarter of 2023. Next come Renault – 2165 cars (+100%), Audi – 421 (+350%), and Geely – 165 (+350%). New BYD registrations increased by more than 600%. Zeekr electric cars have the most groundbreaking dynamics: an increase in the number of registrations per year from 3 to 121 units.

In contrast to 2023, sales of premium brands are now in decline, with new BMW registrations down 14%, Mercedes-Benz down 40%, and Land Rover down 12%. Porsche resisted this trend (+3%), and sales of the Lexus brand increased by 26%.
