Ukraine and Russia intensify their mutual air attacks: Kyiv is attacked with hypersonic missiles.
A fire started at one of the largest power plants in the south of the Russian Federation, the Novocherkassk State District Power Plant in Rostov Region, as a result of a drone attack. Two power units out of nine have been disconnected, as well as high-voltage transmission lines. Explosions and the flight of about two dozen drones over the region were reported.
On March 25, Russia in turn attacked two electrical substations in the southern region with drones. As a result of the strike, a wind power plant and a local CHP plant were shut down in Odesa. Due to equipment damage in Odesa and the region, 195,000 consumers remain without electricity.
In addition, the enemy launched a missile attack on Kyiv with either Zirkon or Onyx hypersonic missiles, which were shot down by Ukraine’s air defense.
The target was an object in which high-ranking SBU officials are located. As a result of the attack, a high-rise building was damaged, and seven people were injured.
