A Polish manufacturer of agricultural machinery will undertake the demining of Ukraine.
Pronar is patenting a special machine for demining, and is planning to start its mass production for the needs of Ukraine in 2024, Pronar representative Radoslav Biletsky said.
“A team of 150 engineers works very closely with partners in Ukraine to overcome existing challenges – mined agricultural fields. So this agricultural machinery has special integrated systems that could solve these tasks,” he said.
Biletsky declined to provide more precise specifications for the machine until the patenting process is completed, noting that this vehicle will be automated, remotely controlled, and used in fields, construction sites, and other open areas.
According to him, this is another product line that Pronar explicitly designed for use in Ukraine. He added that Pronar also exports snowplows and other utility equipment to Ukraine.
