The government finalized the launch of large-scale privatization.

The Cabinet of Ministers approved the necessary technical changes to start the process of large-scale privatization through the Prozorro.Sales system.

According to the Ministry of Economy, the approved changes determine the technical requirements for electronic marketplaces that will have the right to work with the large-scale privatization initiative. The new changes should significantly increase revenues to the state budget. It will also positively impact recovery and economic growth through effective property management, improvement in the business climate, and investment attraction.

Currently, more than 40 marketplaces are accredited in the Prozorro.Sales system, but only those that meet the new requirements will be able to work with large-scale privatization. The changes adopted by the government will allow the establishment of additional guarantees for e-auctions and safeguards against possible trade disruptions due to small privatization efforts.
