The largest domestic hydraulics manufacturer transfers part of its production abroad.
The Hydrosila Group will build a plant in Wroclaw, Poland, owner Pavlo Stutman said. He notes that the group has been supplying its products to Europe for a long time, and since 2017 the Hydrosila EU trading company has been operating in Wroclaw.
According to Stutman, a plot of 1.6 hectares and an almost-finished production building have already been purchased to establish a plant in Poland. It will be a medium-sized enterprise that produces hydraulic cylinders and gear hydraulic pumps. The Polish Hydropower project is expected to break even in four years.
Until recently, the company did not plan to build a plant in Europe. However, due to the shutdown of several Ukrainian metallurgical enterprises due to the war, the company is forced to buy basic materials and components abroad. The products made from them are then transported abroad again, which creates additional costs.
