In the west of Ukraine, the construction of five new food processing plants is being completed.

Five new factories will be constructed on the territory of a former brick factory in Rivne; these will package cereals, make teas, spices, pasta, and gluten-free sweets. Local authorities report that construction began in 2021, and new, spacious premises appeared within a year. Currently, the interior work and improvement of the territory is in progress, and commissioning works have already begun.

Despite the full-scale invasion, investors plan to continue operations. To date, investments in building materials alone have amounted to more than UAH 75M ($2.05M). The launch of the first phase of production is planned for the fall. Most of the equipment is designed and produced in Ukraine. The projects plan to create more than 800 jobs. In addition, the construction of new facilities for processing fish and milk is being considered.
