The Russian Federation carried out another massive night attack on Ukraine.

There is no damage to the energy infrastructure. However, according to the Ministry of Energy, consumers in six front-line and border regions remain without electricity due to shelling.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces shot down all 35 Shahed drones launched by the enemy over Ukraine last night. The Kyiv authorities noted that the enemy has increased the frequency of air attacks on Ukraine’s capital. From the beginning of the month to May 8 inclusive, the Russians have already carried out four air attacks.

In addition, the Russian Federation launched 16 missile strikes on Ukraine yesterday, on the cities of Kharkiv, Kherson, Mykolaiv, and in the Odesa region. The Odesa region was attacked by seven aircraft that launched eight Kh-22 cruise missiles.

In total, the enemy performed 61 airstrikes and 52 attacks from rocket salvo systems on Ukrainian troop positions and 127 populated areas. As a result, three people died, 28 were injured, and 139 infrastructure facilities were damaged.
