Ukrainian Railways has limited cargo transportation to Poland and Slovakia.

According to the company, on April 9 new regulations for cargo transportation to the Szczecin Port Central station (Poland) came into force. It is noted that accepting cargo for the carrier PKP Cargo is prohibited.

The restriction applies to the following shipments: wheat and meslin, rye, barley, oats, corn, rice, grain sorghum, buckwheat, millet, and canary seeds, cereals, modified starches, and glues based on them, etc. The convention will be valid “until canceled”.

In addition, restrictions on the transportation of coal concentrate to Slovakia will take effect on April 11. In particular, this affects transportation to the Ganyska station near Košice via Uzhhorod. The regulations apply to shipments from the Svyato-Varvarynska concentrator to the recipient, U.S. Steel Kosice.
