Ukraine holds negotiations for the weapons it needs the most.
Currently, discussions are ongoing for new Patriot batteries, NASAMS, Iris-T, and Crotale systems. As the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, emphasized, air defense and anti-missile defense equipment are priority needs. “We are working on accelerating similar decisions from them, or other countries,” added Kuleba. The minister clarified that the American Patriot system will arrive in Ukraine soon. In addition, according to Kuleba, Ukraine is interested in obtaining additional anti-aircraft installations, such as Gepard and Vulcan, as well as portable air defense systems, such as Stinger missiles, etc. Artillery shells of all calibers remain another important need. Currently, Ukraine is working with its partners to reach a new level in providing the Armed Forces with artillery systems and armored vehicles of all types.
