Production of metal products in Ukraine has fallen by 63% since the beginning of the year.

Ukrainian metallurgical enterprises in January-July 2022 reduced the production of general rolled products by 62.7% to 4.23 million tons compared to the same period of last year, announced Ukrmetalurgprom. In particular, in the first seven months of 2022, the industry produced:

1. cast iron 4.82 million tons (less 38.1%);
2. steel 4.58 million tons (less 37.9%);
3. rolled steel 4.23 million tons (less 37.3%).

In 2021, 21.16 million tons of pig iron were produced (103.6% compared to 2020), 21.37 million tons of steel (103.6%), and 19.08 million tons of rolled steel (103.5%).
