One month of the war in Ukraine took the lives of at least 1,035 civilians.

The casualties among civilians during the first month of war amounted to 2,685 civilians, including 1,035 deaths, according to the Office of the UN High Commissioner on Human Rights. According to a statement, “UNHCR believes that the real numbers are much higher, especially in government-controlled areas, especially in recent days, as information from some places where intense fighting has taken place is delayed and many reports are still awaiting confirmation.” It is emphasized that there is no official number of Ukrainian military casualties; some sources say it might range from 2,000 to 3,000 soldiers.
