The EU will continue to support Ukraine and isolate Russia.

The foreign ministers of the EU member states, who met today in Brussels, showed full unity in comprehensive support for Ukraine and increasing pressure on and isolation of Russia as an aggressor country. EU High Representative Josep Borrell said that the EU leaders had reached a political agreement on an additional €500M under the European Peace Facility. Furthermore, according to him, the EU countries will continue to support Ukraine financially by providing humanitarian aid and supporting its armed forces. At the same time, he stressed, the EU will continue to isolate Russia in the international arena as well as exposing Russia’s war crimes and flagrant violations of international humanitarian law in Ukraine.
