This spring sowing campaign is the most difficult in the history of Ukraine’s independence, and everything must be done to make it happen on the largest possible scale, according to a statement from the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Agrarian and Land Policy. Under the current war conditions, Ukrainian agrarians face problems: lack of fuel, fertilizers, blocked logistics, and interruptions in the supply of agricultural machinery and equipment. Today the food security of the entire state rests on the shoulders of Ukrainian agrarians. Therefore, we will do everything to ensure that the Ukrainian spring sowing takes place on the maximum scale possible,” the committee said.
