Adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Anton Gerashchenko said that Russian troops from the territory of Belarus entered the Chernobyl zone. The National Guard, which guards the storage of hazardous, radioactive waste, is stubbornly resisting,” he wrote in the Telegram channel. Gerashchenko stressed that “if the storage of nuclear waste is destroyed as a result of enemy artillery strikes, radioactive dust can cover the territory of Ukraine, Belarus, and the EU!”.
