Ukraine grain harvest beats previous records.

In 2021, Ukraine collected a record harvest of grain, legumes, and oilseeds of 106 mln tons: grain and legumes – 84 mln tons, and oilseeds – 22.6 mln tons. The announcement was made on the Facebook page of the Minister of Agrarian Policy, Roman Leshchenko. Last year, the harvest of cereals and legumes amounted to about 65.5 million tons, oilseeds – 18.5 million tons. According to the minister, in addition to favorable weather conditions, this result was facilitated by issuing over UAH 30 bln of loans to farmers under the “Available loans 5-7-9%” program.
