Confectionary producer, Roshen, received permission to build a concert hall

on the site of the Korolev palace (Culture Palace). In September 2020, Roshen which is owned by the former Ukrainian President, Petro Poroshenko, purchased the Palace of Culture. In May 2021, Roshen held a competition to design a concert hall, which was awarded to the Norwegian architectural firm Snohetta. The new building will include an acoustic concert hall with 1,800 seats, and a chamber hall with 450 seats. The opening of Roshen Concert Hall is scheduled for the fall of 2025.
