, Reuters reports from Washington. The $11 billion pipeline – 98% complete – is to send Arctic gas directly from Russia to Germany across the Baltic seabed. Coupled with Nord Stream 1 and TurkStream, a Black Sea pipeline, Russia’s new pipeline frees Gazprom of the need to send gas across Ukraine.
