200 merchant ships have left Ukrainian Black Sea ports through the temporary corridor.

Minister of Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov has reported that, since the beginning of the temporary corridor’s operation in the Black Sea was announced by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in August 2023 through December 4, 200 vessels have carried more than seven million tons of exports from the Odesa ports. Almost five million tons are products from Ukrainian farmers. It is noted that 31 vessels are being loaded in the ports of Chornomorsk and Pivdenny, and another 30 vessels are following the corridor in both directions.

At the same time, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that the International Maritime Organization had adopted a resolution to support Ukraine in the Black Sea. A decision is in place – to assess what technical assistance Ukraine needs to continue the normal operation of the maritime corridor.
