Ukraine and the EU have launched BraveTech EU, the first large-scale technology alliance between Ukraine and the EU focused on defense technologies.

Brave1 will coordinate the project from Ukraine, while the EU will oversee the program through the European Defense Innovation Office (EUDIO). The alliance has allocated €100M for developing defense technologies, with each party contributing €50M. The program aims to provide grants for defense startups, integrate Ukrainian defense tech into the European market, and foster direct cooperation between Ukrainian and EU companies.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian company Tencore, which specializes in ground robotic complexes, has attracted $3.74M from the MITS Capital investment group. This marks the largest publicly confirmed investment round in Ukraine’s ground combat robot sector, with a valuation of $50M. Tencore plans to produce up to 2,000 TerMIT robots this year, mostly for government orders, with component localization exceeding 90%. In 2025, Tencore intends to enter the dual-use segment by developing remotely controlled equipment for humanitarian demining.
