Ukraine’s energy system has enough capacity to cover the needs of all consumers; nuclear generation produces almost 46% of all electricity, reported the Ministry of Energy’s press service.
The electricity produced by Ukrainian power plants is fully sufficient to cover consumer needs, where nuclear generation makes up almost 46% of all electricity, thermal power generation more than 32%, RES more than 11%, and hydrogeneration more than 10%.
The ministry specified that 22 settlements in the Sumy region and 37 in the Donetsk region were cut off due to bad weather. Also, due to technical violations, some consumers in the Chernihiv region remain without electricity.
