Vitagro will invest another $2M in the coming years to produce agricultural products.

Foreign companies will invest in Ukraine’s agricultural sector if they have war-risk insurance.

In 2025-2026, the VITAGRO group of companies will invest an additional $2M to make plant protection products, micro fertilizers, and seeds the group’s top manager Serhiy Savchuk said. Vitagro Partner plans to invest primarily in expanding the line of new products, mainly focusing on biological products, expecting an increase in demand for more environmentally friendly products due to Ukraine’s European integration.

In 2024, investments made to improve technological processes in pesticide production allowed productivity of two production lines to be increased by 30% to 7.5 million liters of products annually. In addition, the improvement increased the line’s liquid complex fertilizer production by 40%, to 3.5 million liters per year. In the future, the number of lines will be increased to four.

In 2023, the company put into operation a modern plant in the Khmelnytskyi region, investing about $8M in the construction of the new facility.
