In March 2023, the Consumer Sentiment Index in Ukraine increased by 4.6 points to 91.2 points, according to monthly research from InfoSapiens. The current situation’s index increased by 3.4 points and is 51.4 points. The index of economic expectations increased by 5.5 and is 117.6. The index of the expected unemployment dynamics improved by 1.5 and is 126.7. The index of inflation expectations decreased by 1 and is 177.3.
The expectations of Ukrainians for the hryvnia exchange rate over the next three months have also improved: the index of devaluation expectations has decreased by 9.4 to 125.7.
Cautious improvement trends in consumer sentiment and confidence in the national currency continue. The analysts explained that this is happening against the background of a challenging but stable situation at the front, a decrease in Russian missile attacks, and a significant stabilization in the electricity supply.
