The staff levels of the 50 largest companies has decreased by 5.3% in half a year, DOU reports. It is noted that 92,400 people work in the 50 largest Ukrainian IT companies, compared to 100,000 in January 2022. However, with some exceptions, this reduction does not mean a decrease in the number of specialists employed by the companies. Ukrainian IT companies continue to actively grow, but most are not doing so in Ukraine. The IT staff members have moved abroad to work in other company-owned offices, are legalized there, and stop paying taxes to Ukraine. Companies are not losing specialists but rather transporting them to their other offices and continue to hire outside Ukraine. On average, up to 25% of workers in an IT team are currently located abroad. In the second half of the year, 27 companies opened new offices abroad. Poland, Romania, Colombia, India, Portugal, and Spain are the most popular destinations.
