The Ministry of Economy has reported that Ukrainian company A3tech-Ukraine is manufacturing the working body for demining machines for Croatian company DOK-ING. The localization level for machines has reached over 10%, and repair of equipment after explosions now requires much less time.
In 2024, the company assembled eight MV-10 heavy demining machines and repaired 10 following explosions and technical malfunctions. In total, more than 50 DOK-ING machines are operating in Ukraine. In the fall, the Croatian company opened its representative office in Ukraine to quicken the demining process by exchanging experience and technologies.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion through the end of 2024, 35,000 square kilometers of Ukrainian land have been surveyed, cleared, or demined. About 17,000 square kilometers were returned to use in 2024, including over 285,000 hectares of agricultural land. There are currently over 200 mechanical demining vehicles and 73 mine action operators. Partners have already allocated almost $1.1B to support humanitarian demining projects.
