Small and medium-sized processing enterprises will receive development grants from $75,000 up to $150,000, says the Ministry of Economy’s press service. “Small and medium-sized processing enterprises will receive $2.5M in support as part of the initiative implemented by the USAID Program, Competitive Economy of Ukraine”. About 25 grants in the amount of $75,000 to $150,000 will be provided as part of the grant program.
Assistance provided by the USAID program will support SMEs in activities that contribute to producing innovative products, modernization of production, and reduction of manual labor. The initiative aims to create more highly skilled jobs, improve the efficiency of using other resources, import/export substitution of Russian and Belarusian products by Ukrainian ones, and localization of production of goods needed for reconstruction.
