President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced an agreement on Ukrainian-American drone production during his visit to Denmark. The agreement involves several companies that will manufacture various types of drones, with a goal to produce hundreds of thousands of units, primarily focusing on interceptor drones, with more planned for the future.
One partner is the American company Swift Beat, which specializes in making autonomous drones enabled with artificial intelligence. It is expected to expand its production capacity, and modern drones will be supplied to Ukraine as a priority, under special terms and at cost.
Ukrainian company Skyeton, which focuses on unmanned aircraft systems, and leading British defense firm Prevail Partners have formed a joint venture to produce ACS-3/Raybird reconnaissance UAVs in the UK. These drones will be supplied to the militaries of Ukraine, Britain, and other NATO countries.
The Raybird surpasses its competitors in endurance, range, cost, and operational coverage. Some of the latest versions feature an integrated laser guidance system for precision munitions, with accuracy within one meter. It is the only UAV in its class to have such a system.
