Ukraine aims to digitize all public services and to switch to a paperless economy.

The announcement was made by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during a Government meeting held on September 22. Shmyhal considers this is the best way to overcome bureaucracy, domestic corruption and abuse. Consequently, the Cabinet of Ministers approved four draft laws on electronic identification and electronic trust services, which are designed, in particular, to ensure Ukraine’s accession to the EU Digital Single Market. In total, according to the Prime Minister, the Government has endorsed more than 20 European integration acts, which bring Ukraine closer to the European Union and European best practices.
