Minister of Economy Yulia Svyridenko has described investment projects by large companies in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Interpipe is implementing three projects, the largest of which is constructing a new production section for heat treatment of pipes worth $40M.
The other two are being implemented in the railway division of Interpipe NTZ in Dnipro. Centravis plans to modernize the pipe press line for $3.5M. ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih intends to increase the utilization of production capacities from 30% to 50% and invest $150M in production.
The largest project is the construction of the Map III tailings storage facility, which will ensure the enterprise’s operation for the following decades.
Also, Biosphere, the largest producer of household goods in Ukraine, will start producing tea. Biosphere successfully used the 5-7-9 state credit program and will launch a new facility in January 2024. So far, the company has invested $20M in this project.
