Suziria Group will receive $2M from USAID to launch a new pet food production line.

The USAID project, Investments for Business Sustainability, concluded a $2M grant agreement with Suziria Group, one of the leaders in the Ukrainian pet product market, to increase its production capacity. The Kharkiv company will invest another $4.5M obtained through loans from Ukrainian banks and its own resources.

The funds will allow Suziria Group to launch its own production of wet pet food in Kalush, Ivano-Frankivsk region. After the rocket attacks on Kharkiv, Suziria Group moved its grain fodder production there, but some of its production facilities in Kharkiv continued to operate. The company will be able to increase production capacity, create 130 new jobs, and reduce its production costs.

Currently, Suziria Group manufactures wet pet food at partner facilities in EU countries.
