As reported by Minister of Agrarian Policy Vitaly Koval, “The construction of a tractor plant is not only a viable investment but also a strategic move for the development of the Ukrainian agricultural sector. After all, since the onset of the full-scale invasion, Ukraine have lost more than 8,000 units of machinery and equipment, over 1,000 of which are tractors…”
“We value LS Group’s extensive experience and advanced technologies in agricultural machinery production, which they are prepared to integrate into manufacturing in Ukraine. Korean investors are searching for potential partners to implement the project. Therefore, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy is facilitating the establishment of such cooperation in the format of a joint Ukrainian-Korean enterprise,” the minister emphasized.
According to him, there are also prospects being considered for creating a technological center to produce engines for agricultural machinery and other equipment.
LS Group is a leader in South Korean industry, and the manufacturer’s tractor models range in power from 30 to 150 horsepower.
