The South Korean state corporation Overseas Infrastructure and Urban Development (KIND) is ready to collaborate on master planning for Ukrainian industrial parks and work to reduce risks for investors.
KIND has been involved in Ukrainian restoration projects for more than two years, including the Kyiv region’s transport master plan, the reconstruction of Ukrainian airports, railway renovations, and other initiatives with city and municipal participation. Currently, discussions are also underway to involve South Korea in cooperation with international partners to expand mechanisms for military risk insurance.
Additionally, the Korean government will allocate $10M to Ukraine to support infrastructure projects under the new four-year Economic Innovation Partnership Program. This initiative includes providing strategic consultations, project development, and pre-project studies aimed at fostering long-term economic cooperation between Ukraine and Korea. Up to 25 initiatives are expected to be implemented within the program.
