The price of land increased by more than 50% in 2024 in land auctions conducted using the state’s electronic trading system, Prozorro. Gross sales from these auctions total more than ₴1B since the beginning of 2024.
Legal entities, which have been able to buy land since January 1, have purchased 75 agricultural plots for ₴17.8M. Communal and state land for non-agricultural purposes and private agricultural land were sold for ₴497.5M. Another ₴188.4M came through the sale of seized land and ₴358.2M was obtained by renting plots.
Since the beginning of the year, the Dnipropetrovsk region has sold the most plots – 669, the Lviv (463), Odesa (430), Cherkasy (417) and Kirovohrad (302) regions follow.
Currently, more than 900 trades are at the closing stage and can deliver more than ₴247M to Ukraine’s budget. There are almost 2,400 plots available for sale and rent in the Prozorro.Sales system with a total starting value of ₴912.9M.
