Kovalska will resume construction of a mixed-use business center in Kyiv that will include offices, apartments, and a hotel.

A Ukrainian manufacturer and developer plans to restart building the NUVO complex on Zhylyanska Street next year, said company CEO Serhiy Pylypenko. He explained that before the war, Kovalska had been ready to start construction and possessed permits for the first two office buildings, but they froze the project “due to obvious circumstances.” Over the ensuing years, the company finalized the project and increased its stake from 50% to 100%, becoming the project’s sole owner.

“We plan to bring the project to the market approximately next year. The concept has been improved but remains the same – mixed-use office space with some apartments and a hotel. We plan to start construction in 2026. This doesn’t mean we’ll immediately launch the project, but we will begin site preparations to offer a finished product at the right time,” Pylypenko said.

The company promises the business center will be environmentally friendly with a socially-oriented approach.
