Ukraine and Japan have agreed on cooperation in digital transformation and signed a memorandum for the first time. Within the framework of the memorandum, Japan will help Ukraine develop innovations and strengthen its cyber defense.
It is noted that Japan’s technological solutions will help enhance Ukraine’s digital borders and protect the information systems of critical infrastructure facilities. The ministers also agreed on exchanging best practices for developing the IT industry and electronic government.
Ukraine, in turn, will share its experience and the best digital developments for a unified and effective e-government system: the mobile-first approach, their experience in quickly launching online services, the development of e-government, and the implementation of digital innovations at the state level.
