According to CBRE Ukraine, many international companies producing building materials, in anticipation of the post-war rebuilding of Ukraine, have already acquired or are in the process of acquiring land for the construction of production or logistics facilities. Several international companies, in particular logistics providers and tobacco manufacturers and in connection with the NBU’s current restrictions on capital repatriation, have accumulated substantial funds in hryvnias in their accounts, and for them, land is an ideal asset for investment. This trend is also observed among consumer goods manufacturers, including international giants such as Unilever and Nestle, and local manufacturers relocating from the eastern and southern regions. The greatest interest among buyers is concentrated in the west of Ukraine and the Kyiv and Vinnytsia regions. Typically, companies consider objects from two to five hectares, but there are also examples of cluster construction, where producers buy plots with an area of several tens of hectares. Developers of logistics real estate are considering plots with an area of five to ten hectares.
