In 2024, industrial parks attracted investment despite the war.

Щороку в Україні з’являється понад 20 індустріальних парків, цьогоріч вже зареєстрували вісім.

In 2024, industrial parks attracted investment despite the war.

By the end of 2024, 25 factories in economic sectors including food production, agro-processing, building materials production, woodworking, and mechanical engineering have been built or are being built in Ukrainian industrial parks. More than 100,000 square meters of industrial real estate and almost 200 MW of electrical capacity have been put into operation.

Ukrainian industrial parks have been attractive to foreign investors. In Bila Tserkva, British Unilever is building a hygiene products production plant, Finnish Peikko is building a building materials production plant, and German InTiCa Systems is producing electric vehicle components. The Austrian company, Kronospan, launched a new €200M line to produce OSB boards in the Rivne region.

Among Ukrainian companies that took advantage of the opportunities presented by the parks, Univest launched packaging production in Fastiv, windmill manufacturer Friendly Wind Technology established operations in Transcarpathia, and Ma’Rijany Hemp Company is processing technical hemp in the Zhytomyr region.

Last year, the Ministry of Economy, for the first time, allocated over ₴1B to 15 industrial parks to implement 34 infrastructure projects. According to calculations, each ₴1 of state investment will attract ₴5-6 of private investment.
