The SkyLab UA company used a Brave1 defense technology cluster grant to implement airless wheels in the Sirko-S1 ground multifunctional robotic complex. The complex can be used for reconnaissance, evacuating the wounded, transporting goods, and demining/mining. Ukrainian military tech company Frontline also received a ₴2M grant from Brave1.
It will be used to create new Lens bomber drones that can perform reconnaissance functions. The Ukrainian military is already using the drone on the front lines. The grant will also allow the delivery of these drones to brigades that have already placed pre-orders. Meanwhile, Ukrainian defense startups are invited to participate in the second Extreme Bootcamp, organized by Estonian entrepreneur Ragnar Sass and the Darkstar coalition.
The organizers will select the 10 best teams, which will work with European founders of unicorn companies and Ukrainian military experts. The best teams will be offered a potential investment of more than €1.5M from the fund, and individual teams can receive up to €0.5M.
