Since the beginning of the full-scale war, foreigners from 101 countries have opened 3,075 companies in Ukraine. Most often, citizens of Turkey opened businesses in Ukraine – 396 companies or 12.9% of the total. This is followed by citizens of Uzbekistan – 312 businesses (10.1%) and citizens of Poland – 224 businesses or 7.3%. The top ten leaders also include citizens of the US, Kazakhstan, Germany, Azerbaijan, Israel, Britain, and China.
Almost half of the companies with foreign owners were registered in Kyiv – 1,517. The Lviv Oblast is in second place with 460 businesses, and the Odesa Oblast is in third place with 273 companies.
The largest number of companies with foreign owners are engaged in wholesale trade – 30.7%, real estate operations – 6.7% and computer programming – 5.8%.
TENS1MA, from Armenia and with a charter capital of ₴1.28B, became the largest foreign business to open during the war. Next comes the Yugen venture investment fund with a charter capital of ₴700M and a US owner. The third largest is the LFS compay, with a Polish founder, with ₴300M of authorized capital.
