Andy Hunder, President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine spoke about a recent meeting that he had with the Minister of Internal Affairs, Denys Monastyrsky, to discuss the challenges that businesses face with Ukraine’s law enforcement agencies. Examples of Illicit trade, counterfeit, smuggling, contraband, raider attacks, intellectual property rights infringement, fraud, and theft were just some of the topics raised. The Ministry has promised to set up a new office to work with businesses, build trust, and review unlawful cases.
